LEVEL  0
CAT and every other MBA entrance exam in India tests your two basic skills-ENGLISH AND MATHEMATICS Most students struggle with English grammar and fluent spoken English.Speaking fluent English will not only help you with the exam but also in future when you are in college or at your work place. So, for those who are weak in English, I have included beginner's spoken English and grammar tutorials to help you improve your spoken English skills and refresh your grammar. Similarly, for students who have a commerce background, I have included a refresher math course if your basic math skills are below average. Learning basics of mathematics will refresh your memory and clear any doubts you had in basic concepts .
For students who have sufficient time to prepare, I have included a special Vedic mathematics tutorial which is very well known as the fastest and easiest way of calculation. I have also included mental arithmetic tutorials to help you increase the speed of your mental calculation. Overall, this level will help students build a strong base of spoken and written English as well as strengthen your mathematics skills in the easiest and fastest way possible. MY RECOMMENDATION- This level should be studied before starting any exam preparation. Even if your English and Mathematics skills are strong it is still recommended to go through them in order to refresh your memory and clear any doubts you may have. This level can be completed in 3-5 days.

 LEVEL  1
This level is All about CAT and MBA. It is common knowledge that before starting any exam preparation you need to know the details of the exam like what is the exam for, what is asked, how it is asked, the pattern, syllabus, duration etc. Once you have complete information about the exam you can prepare an appropriate strategy to start your preparation. Then you are mentally prepared to face it.
MY RECOMMENDATION- Create a study plan,a realistic time table which you can follow regularly and adjust it in your daily routine.Start slowly, study for two hours a day and then increase the hours as you get accustomed to it.Make sure you stick to your plan. It's OK to take breaks but get back to the time table as soon as you can. This level can be completed in 2-3 days.
Like they say " TO WIN A BATTLE YOU NEED TO KNOW YOUR ENEMY".

 LEVEL  3
Level 3-Part 1 is Workbooks Once you understand the concepts you can start solving exercises. The practice exercises are arranged in topic wise sections. Each topic is further divided into 3 levels according to the difficulty level.1st level has questions of less difficulty,2nd level has a moderate difficulty and 3rd level has questions of high difficulty level. The topics covered in the workbook are-Analogy
 Data interpretation-Data sufficiency,

 Reading comprehension and
 Mixed questions workbook etc.
I have also added some practice material from complore, test funda etc.

Level 3-Part 2 consists of General Awareness. This section includes -
Important general knowledge lists of famous authors, books, events, personalities etc 150 GK quiz exercises, 10,000 question GK quiz, GK exercises of career forum/launcher, Logical puzzles and Divij GK workbook containing 120 GK quiz exercises having a total of approx 12500 questions. MY RECOMMENDATION- This is all the material you need to prepare for general awareness sections of all entrance exams. This section is not provided by any other coaching class. This was added to make sure that my students don't need to waste time reading old newspapers, magazines, watching television news and reading all the information on the internet. Please go through this section before you appear for your exam.General awareness might not be asked in your CAT exam but it is definitely asked in group discussion and personal interview rounds.GK questions are also asked in XAT, SNAP and other entrance exams.GK section can be completed in 5-7 days.Workbook section can be completed in 20-30 days.
 LEVEL  4
Now coming to Level 4 - MOCK CATs. In the CAT prep guide you have 50 mocks for practice of level 2 and 3 difficulty and 8 mini mocks of level 1 difficulty. These mock CATs were chosen out of more than 300 mocks based on the type/quality of questions and their difficulty level. MY RECOMMENDATION This step can be very scary for most students. Please don't lose confidence, start with level 1-mini mocks. They are actually not easy, they are of moderate difficulty level so don't assume that you will get all the correct answers easily. As you keep solving, after each mock carefully scan through the paper and find your mistakes then open the concept book and try to learn where you went wrong, make sure you don't make the same mistake again. If you go on solving mocks but don't correct your mistakes you are not learning anything, you are just practicing. Therefore it is very important to take time to correct your mistakes and learn from them. You can solve 1-2 mocks every day.Don't forget to time yourself. You need to solve every mock in the given time period only then you can improve your speed. In CAT,you have approximately 1-2 mins to solve each question.
 LEVEL  5

MY RECOMMENDATION These books are commonly used by students preparing for MBA entrance exams.Although everything is already provided in the guide, these  books are included only for your reference. It is not important to go through each and every book in the list but some books like MBA,Speed reading etc. can be helpful. Some books also have tips that can be helpful during the exam.

LEVEL  6Level 6 is learning STRATEGIES,SHORTCUTS,TIPS AND TRICKS- Most aspirants join coaching classes, study the same coursework and most students have an average level of intelligence but what sets apart a topper from the rest of the world is the strategies he/she used to prepare for the exam and strategies to solve the paper. To crack CAT or other MBA entrances like SNAP,XAT etc. you need to solve each question in less than 2 minutes, you also have to make sure your answer is correct because of negative marking and most importantly you need to know which question to solve and which question to skip. This is the only way to crack CAT or for that matter any other entrance exam. This section provides an excellent collection of the best tips, tricks and shortcuts to reduce your solving time and increase your accuracy. It has some very important strategies like - How to eliminate options,How to find sitters in cat,Test taking strategy in detail divided in 4 parts ,Improving RC speed,80 rules to solve SC,Para jumble strategy; verbal strategy etc.
This level is divided into:         Quantitative aptitude strategy
 Verbal ability strategy
 Reading comprehension strategy
 Sentence correction strategy
 Logical reasoning strategy
 Grammar strategy
 Critical reading strategy
 CAT strategy
 Test taking strategy

MY RECOMMENDATION You will find the most important tips in this section. These tips can help you crack any exam with ease. Therefore it is important to go through this section very carefully.Follow the shortcuts and tips while solving mocks and choose a strategy that is most comfortable for you.You don't need to waste time with trial and error methods. No other class or website out there provides such a comprehensive collection of strategies, shortcuts, tips and tricks in so much detail in a completely separate section ; make use of this advantage you have over the other 2.5 lakh students and crack the exam easily.

LEVEL  7
This level is solving PRO CATS. Once you have cleared your concepts, practiced all the workbooks, learnt all the strategies and shortcuts and solved mock CATS, now it is time to attempt the PRO CATS.PRO CATS are mocks that are chosen from mock CAT series of top coaching classes of India. This section includes mocks of T.I.M.E and Career Launcher. These mocks are the best of the best; chosen from mock cat series of top 12 coaching classes of India. I personally went through each mock and all its questions and then categorized them according to level of difficulty and quality of questions. After solving these you are absolutely ready to bell the CAT. MY RECOMMENDATION These mocks are not compulsory to solve. These are given for your satisfaction so my students don't need to waste their time and money attending mock series of any coaching class.
LEVEL  8 Level 8 is Solving previousCAT papers. It is important to attempt the previous year paper because CAT is completely unpredictable. No one can predict the type of questions that will come in the exam. It is advised to practice the previous year papers to give you an understanding of the exam. The level of difficulty, the pattern and how and what kind of questions will come in the exam. MY RECOMMENDATION I have tried to add as many versions of the solved papers so in case you don’t understand how a particular question is solved, you can try the other solved paper because the method of solving a question differs from individual to individual.CAT papers are from 1990 to 2011.
 LEVEL  9
Level 9 is  ALL-IN-ONE LISTS. While solving mocks and practicing workbooks you might need to go through a particular concept or may be you can’t remember a particular formula or definition. Now,going through the entire text book just to search for one formula is a complete waste of time. For that very reason, I have compiled all the important list of concepts and formulas, shortcuts that you might need while solving mocks and workbooks.
LEVEL  10Level 10 is Studying with software. This is one of the added advantages of the guide. Most students are habituated to using paper and pen while studying. These software are designed to get the students habituated to using computer for studying and solving questions. These software are for reading comprehension, vocabulary, English pronunciations, word power, verbal test. Kaplan and Princeton software are also included. These will help you get the feel of the real CAT exam. MY RECOMMENDATION It is better to habituate yourself with the computer so,when you appear for the real exam it doesn't feel strange. This section consists of executable files which cannot be transferred through Gmail or Google drive.A download link is provided which will redirect you to a file sharing website. This section is only provided for you to experience computer based exam pattern. It is not compulsory to solve this section.
PLEASE NOTE- LEVEL 10 HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH NEW MATERIAL BECAUSE IT IS DIFFICULT TO TRANSFER EXECUTABLE FILES VIA EMAIL OR GOOGLE DRIVE SINCE IT IS NOT ALLOWED THEREFORE LEVEL 10 HAS BEEN OMITTED AND NEW MATERIAL HAS BEEN ADDED TO REPLACE IT.
 LEVEL  11
Level 11 is REVISION. It is a very important level and most CAT coaching classes skip this step.Since most students prepare for CAT for almost a year, it is impossible to remember each and every formula and each and every concept that you studied a year ago. Therefore this level is provided to help refresh your memory and help you revise the entire syllabus that you have studied so far. This level consists of 3 parts-
Quant revision
 Verbal revision
 Grammar revision
MY RECOMMENDATION I have tried my best to shorten the concepts-definitions and list out all the important formulas in a few lines. This will help you to revise quickly without wasting any time. I have also added a few basic problem solving questions so you can quickly revise how to solve the problems as well. You can save a bundle of time by using this level to refresh your memory in case you have forgotten any of the concepts or formulas.
LEVEL  12 Level 12 is solving Mock papers of other MBA entrance exams. This level is also an important step. Most students appearing only for CAT skip this step and don’t bother solving other entrance exam papers because they feel it’s a waste of time since CAT is a different test but you should always remember that MBA entrance exams like SNAP,MAT,FMS, IIFT, XAT, CET etc. have excellent questions of the same difficulty level as CAT. You might get lucky and find a question that might come in your CAT exam. The syllabus of all MBA entrance exams are the same. Even GRE and GMAT have the same syllabus so you are actually getting free additional practice material .Another plus point is that these questions are of high difficulty level therefore try not to skip this step. Trust me it will be very helpful.
 LEVEL  13
Level 13 is reading Articles from experts about CAT / MBA In this level, I have included an extensive collection of most beneficial CAT articles written by the industry experts. This provides a lot of information on additional strategies, shortcuts and tricks you can use to solve the exam. I have also included analysis of previous papers which basically is a step by step explanation of what came in the last paper, the level of difficulty ,number of questions etc. with the help of this you can predict the CAT paper to some extent.  Selection criteria of all IIMs, college ranking with websites and phone numbers I want the students to have all the information they need so they don’t have to waste time on the internet any more.Studying for CAT should be your main focus. My students should not have to stress out about finding all the information that’s the reason I have provided every important information that a student could ever need regarding CAT or MBA.   Many students come to me with doubts about choosing a specialization. So for those students who are still confused about their specialization, I have included articles from industry experts on details of the specialization, packages, scope and all the details required to make a solid decision. Also included are interviews with CAT toppers to learn about their experience and strategy. It is impossible for all of us to know at least one person who topped CAT or studying in an IIM. Even if we find them on Face book they might be too busy to reply. Therefore with this section you can get to know about all the CAT toppers, what they studied, how, when and from where they studied. You can personally relate to them by reading their experiences.
 LEVEL 14
The last and final step is step 14-Preparing for GROUP DISCUSSION AND PERSONAL INTERVIEWThis step comes after you have appeared for all the exams.Once you get a call from any of the colleges you have to appear for group discussion and personal interview rounds. Few colleges have also added a written assessment test. This section will give you all the information you need about group discussion and personal interview.Starting from the basics about what they exactly are, what are they judging, how do they judge, from where do they find the questions, how to answer the questions, what to do during GD PI, how to behave, how to sit, how to talk, GD PI questions previously asked by colleges, CAT toppers interviews about their GD-PI experiences, what was asked, how they answered etc. and lastly list of GD-PI topics that can be asked.Writing assessment/essay tips, solved topics and topics for practice are also included.
MY RECOMMENDATION Getting a 100% score in CAT does not guarantee admission in IIM. You have to clear both rounds of GD and PI to confirm your seat in the top B-school. Therefore it is as important as studying for CAT and hence you should be prepared. You should have knowledge about what are they judging in these rounds, what can be asked and how and what you have to answer. This brings us to the end of our  guide
“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.” ― Mother Teresa
It's OK if you are late, don't be scared and don't cry over lost time.Make use of the time you have left. Its never too late to start your preparation. All you have to do is TAKE THE FIRST STEP!
 GOOD LUCK!
