SOP : The Right Way and Not Write Way

SOP is the most important thing you have to write before you FACE your Interview.

That’s why it’s utmost important to write SOP in a proper fashion.

You can’t take it casually because your whole interview depends upon it. If you don’t give much thought to the answers you are writing down, you are going to get into trouble, because your final interview depends entirely upon your SOP.

The way you are going to play out in writing your SOP, the same way, your interview will be played out.

Make no Mistake.

These are some guidelines you can follow while you write your SOP.

1. Don’t use “Fake it till you Make it” approach.

Don’t exaggerate your achievements. If you haven’t achieved a lot of things or even if you don’t have biggest achievements, it really doesn’t matter. You just have to write what’s true for you. No matter how small achievement you have, you can mention it as long as it helps you to demonstrate your skills or expertise.

2. Be Original.

Always write in your own style. Don’t copy-paste others writing, you can always refer to other materials or adapt to the new style but trying to be original always helps. It would make you more comfortable at the time of the interview and most important thing is you don’t have to memorize the perfect answers.

If you be original , your words will find a logical flow. If you are not being original, you always have to think before you talk something.

3. Be coherent in your writing.

Make sure, there is a logical flow between two connecting paragraphs.

Read it aloud multiple times to make sure, everything is in the place.

4.  Spend more time thinking ON your SOP than actually writing your SOP.

This strategy alone will help you to create your SOP at faster pace.

actually reduce.
